Axis Cert follows a structured, transparent, and impartial certification process in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015.
Organisation submits application. Axis Cert reviews scope, size, and standard requirements and prepares a certification agreement.
Document review and audit planning. Axis Cert auditors review the organisation's management system documentation and confirm readiness for Stage 2.
On-site or remote audit. Axis Cert auditors objectively assess the implementation and effectiveness of the management system against the standard requirements.
An independent certification decision is made by a qualified reviewer not involved in the audit. Certificate issued upon satisfactory outcome.
Annual surveillance audits conducted in years 1 and 2 of the certification cycle to confirm continued conformance.
Full recertification audit conducted in year 3 to renew the certificate for a further 3-year cycle.
